Mobile bartending FAQ

Dry-hire bartending across New England — quick answers before you book.

Do you provide the alcohol?

No. Seaside Spirits is a dry-hire service. You buy the alcohol, and we bring mixers, ice, cups, garnishes, setup, bartending, and cleanup. We send you a simple shopping list after you book.

Can you pick up the alcohol for me?

No. You order and pick up the alcohol. We don’t buy it, transport it, or add it to your bill. We send a shopping list after you book.

How do I know which package to choose?

Essential is $599 for up to 80 guests — beer, wine, and simple mixed drinks, one bartender, up to 4 hours. That price does not go up inside 80 guests. Signature is the nicer bar: two house cocktails, a printed menu, and a styled setup, still one bartender, up to 80 guests and 5 hours, $999. Premium is for parties over 80 guests — two bartenders, three cocktails, and a styled bar, $1,499. An extra bartender is $75 per hour for the package hours. An extra hour is $125, and that already includes the bartender for that hour. Smaller or unusual events are quoted from a $500 minimum.

What’s included besides the bartender?

Every package includes mixers (sodas, juices, tonic, club soda, sour mix, and water), ice, cups, napkins, straws, standard garnishes, bar tools, a water station, setup, cleanup, an alcohol shopping list, and general plus liquor liability insurance. You buy and pick up the alcohol. Essential can add basic syrups or elevated garnishes for $50 each. Signature and Premium already include those, plus custom cocktails (or mocktails), a printed menu, and a table with tablecloths. Premium also includes a second bartender, higher-end garnishes, coordinated bar presentation, and extra attention to visual details and styling. Extra signature drinks — cocktail or mocktail — are $85 each.

Are you insured?

Yes. Seaside Spirits carries general liability and liquor liability insurance. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book.

What if I already have a bar setup?

That’s fine. Tell us when you request a quote and we can adjust the setup.

How do deposits and payment work?

Request a date first — no charge. I’ll confirm the event and send a quote. A 50% deposit on this site holds the date after we agree. The remaining balance is due before or on the event date, as written in your contract. If that date is already booked, we’ll tell you up front.

What if we need to cancel or move the date?

Tell us as soon as you know. With 30 or more days’ notice, you can move the date once if we’re open, or cancel and we only keep the deposit. From 14 to 29 days, half the total is due and the deposit counts toward it. Under 14 days, or if no one is there when we arrive, the full amount is due — that day can’t be given to someone else. If weather makes an uncovered outdoor bar unsafe, we’ll try to move the date once. If a new day doesn’t work for both of us, we keep the deposit unless we’re already on the way or on site. If we have to cancel, you get back what you paid for that date.

What areas do you serve?

All of New England: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Connecticut. No extra travel charge.

Are kids included in the guest count?

We plan the bar based on the total event size, then confirm how many adults will be drinking so staffing and supplies are right.

Can guests bring their own drinks?

That depends on the venue rules and your event. Tell us ahead of time so we can plan safely and stay within the venue’s policies.
